The U.S. men’s national team (USMNT) announced that it will play its Concacaf World Cup Qualifying match at Jamaica on Nov. 16 without fans in attendance.
The decision was made due to local government restrictions relating to COVID-19, per a tweet sent out by the team.

The game, to be played at Independence Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica, is set to be USMNT’s second qualifier after the window reopens with its match against Mexico at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati on Nov. 12.
The United States previously defeated Jamaica 2-0 on its home soil at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas, on Oct. 7 and sits in second place at 3-1-2 (11 points) after six matches. Jamaica is in sixth with a 1-3-2 record (5 points).
The top three finishers qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, while the team that finishes fourth will have an opportunity to qualify later in an intercontinental playoff.
