Los Angeles Sparks coach Curt Miller will miss Thursday’s game at Chicago to attend his Mid-American Conference Hall of Fame induction in Cleveland.

Assistant coach Nola Henry will serve as interim head coach when the Sparks (2-4) take on the Sky (2-3).

Miller, 55, is in his second season with Los Angeles after coaching the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun from 2016-22.

Miller was the women’s basketball coach for 11 seasons at Bowling Green from 2001-12, compiling a 258-92 overall record and a MAC record of 135-41.

The six-time MAC Coach of the Year guided the Falcons to the NCAA Tournament five times, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2007.

The 2024 MAC Hall of Fame class also includes Nick Saban, Frank Solich, Jessica Simpson, Sarah Obras and Jordan Lynch.
