The Dallas Wings are continuing to reshape their roster, sending the No. 8 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft and guard Jacy Sheldon to the Connecticut Sun in exchange for the No. 12 pick and guard-forward Dijonai Carrington, multiple media outlets reported Saturday.

ESPN reported that Dallas also has the rights to swap 2026 second-round picks with Connecticut.

It’s the second deal in as many days for the Wings.

According to multiple reports, the Phoenix Mercury acquired two-time All-Star forward Satou Sabally from the Wings as part of a three-team trade on Friday night.

The Wings reportedly are receiving point guard Ty Harris and forward Mikiah “Kiki” Herbert Harrigan from the Mercury and forward NaLyssa Smith and the No. 8 selection in this year’s draft from the Indiana Fever. That pick is being sent to Connecticut.

The Fever will acquire guard Sophie Cunningham and the No. 19 pick this year from Phoenix, and the Mercury will get center Kalani Brown and point guard Sevgi Uzun from Dallas.

Sheldon, 24, averaged 5.4 points, 2.5 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 40 games (26 starts) last season. She was selected by Dallas with the fifth overall pick of the 2024 WNBA Draft.

Carrington, 27, averaged 12.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 39 games (all starts) last season. She has contributed averages of 8.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 131 career games (42 starts) since being selected by Connecticut in the second round of the 2021 WNBA Draft.
