The Phoenix Mercury re-signed guard Sophie Cunningham to a two-year deal, multiple outlets reported Saturday.

Cunningham, 26, is coming off a breakout season in her fourth campaign with the Mercury in 2022.

She set career highs in scoring (12.6) and rebounding (4.4) and was second on the team with 70 3-point field goals in 28 games (20 starts).

Drafted in the second round by Phoenix in 2019, Cunningham has career averages of 6.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 111 games (40 starts).
