Washington Mystics center Shakira Austin had to be carried off the court after injuring her hip in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 89-88 overtime loss to the New York Liberty.

After nabbing a steal, Austin was trying to get out in transition when she stumbled and grabbed in the area of her left hip. A trainer and teammate Natasha Cloud then picked her up and took her to the locker room, and Cloud was ruled out for the rest of the game shortly after.

Austin finished with six points and five rebounds in 22 minutes prior to exiting.

In 13 games this season, Austin has posted averages of 11.4 points and 7.8 rebounds. She is shooting 50.8 percent from the field.
