Dearica Hamby of the Los Angeles Sparks has been named to the 2024 USA 3×3 women’s national team, replacing the injured Cameron Brink at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

USA Basketball announced her addition to the four-person team on Monday. She will team with Cierra Burdick, Rhyne Howard and Hailey Van Lith in Paris.

Brink, a rookie with the Sparks, tore her left ACL last Tuesday in a loss to the Connecticut Sun.

Hamby, 30, was a member of the U.S. team that won the gold medal at the FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup team in 2023.

The 6-foot-3 Hamby is in her 10th WNBA season. The two-time All-Star is averaging 17.8 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists over 17 games (all starts) with the Sparks.

At the Olympics, the U.S. women are scheduled to begin pool play on July 30 against Germany.
