Sentinels parted ways with Valorant head coach Don “SyykoNT” Muir on Monday.

Team CEO Rob Moore announced the “difficult decision” on social media and promoted strategic coach Adam “kaplan” Kaplan to fill the vacancy.

The move follows back-to-back losses against NRG and Leviatan in the Valorant Champions Tour 2023: Americas League regular season. Sentinels are currently in eighth place heading into Week 4 of the eight-week season.

Sentinels did not make any changes to the active roster that includes Tyson “TenZ” Ngo and Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen of Canada, Zachary “zekken” Patrone of the U.S., Rory “dephh” Jackson of the United Kingdom, and Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi and Bryan “pANcada” Luna of Brazil.

Their first match with Kaplan as head coach is Friday against LOUD.
