Oscar “Mixwell” Canellas Colocho said he is open to offers after being benched by G2 Esports’ Valorant team.

“I’m officially benched from G2,” Mixwell tweeted Tuesday. “I have permission to search for options and I’m open to any offers.”

Mixwell was an accomplished CS:GO professional before making the jump to Valorant when he signed with G2 in 2020. However, the team’s former in-game leader was recently replaced in favor of Wassim “keloqz” Cista for the Valorant Champions Tour.

“I was the last man remaining from the initial lineup that started everything,” Mixwell wrote. “Thank you for your support #G2ARMY”

G2 has struggled to sustain the early success it had in Valorant. The team was eliminated by Alliance in the first round of the lower bracket at the European closed qualifiers for VCT 2022.

G2 announced the next day that Keloqz was returning to the lineup after he was initially allowed to seek opportunities following his benching. The team went on to win the second European closed qualifier as well as qualifying for next month’s EMEA Challengers 1.

Mixwell is unlikely to compete in the first EMEA Challengers following this week’s roster lock, but Dexerto reported that he has received interest from teams including Spanish organization KOI. According to the report, KOI is expected to be invited to compete in the Spanish division of the new Valorant Regional League system.

Mixwell, 26, spent more than seven years in the professional CS:GO scene. His career began in 2012 and he spent time with the likes of OpTic Gaming, Movistar Riders and Cloud9. He made the move to Valorant after being benched by Cloud9 in February 2020.
