UFC: Song Yadong beats Chris Gutierrez at UFC Fight Night

Song Yadong beat Chris Gutierrez by unanimous decision on Saturday night in their main event bantamweight bout at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas.

Yadong (21-7-1) took the cards 50-44, 50-45, 50-45 after landing 42 blows to Gutierrez’s head. It marked Yadong’s fifth victory in his past six UFC fights, while Gutierrez (20-6-2) fell for just the second time in his past 11 brawls.

In other action, Khalil Rountree Jr. (14-5-0) used a punch to take care of Anthony Smith (37-19-0) in a light heavyweight bout. Nasrat Haqparast (16-5-0) also picked up a victory via punches, getting past Jamie Mullarkey (17-7-0) in lightweight action.

Tim Elliott (21-13-1) and Andre Muniz (24-6-0) also won their respective fights on Saturday. Elliott was competing in the bantamweight class; Muniz was a middleweight.
