Tiger Woods entered the venue for his TGL debut to the sounds of “Eye of the Tiger” on Tuesday, but his team ended up as the prey instead of the predator in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Los Angeles Golf Club routed Woods’ Jupiter Links Golf Club 12-1 in the new simulated golf league’s second-ever match.

Woods played alongside Max Homa and Kevin Kisner. The LAGC consists of Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala and England’s Justin Rose.

Serena Williams and Tiger Woods’ son Charlie were among those in attendance at SoFi Center on the campus of Palm Beach State College, close to Woods’ home base in Jupiter, Fla.

“Charlie tried to give us a pep talk, which was just him saying we aren’t really good,” Homa said after his team fell behind 8-1. “I don’t know if that was a pep talk, but our spirits are still high.”

Woods set up Jupiter Links’ lone point with a strong approach shot on No. 6, but LAGC dominated the remainder of the match.

Earlier, Woods’ drive found a simulated water hazard on the second hole.

“I don’t know what the hell happened,” Woods said. “I don’t hit it that far. With my old body, I don’t know how it went that far.”

The match ended with an eagle from Theegala on the par-5 15th hole.

The next three matches feature New York Golf Club vs. Atlanta Drive Golf Club on Jan. 21, Jupiter Links vs. Boston Common Golf on Jan. 27 and Boston vs. LAGC on Feb. 4.

In the opening match last week, The Bay Golf Club defeated New York Golf Club 9-2.
