OVERWATCH: Perfect run: Atlanta Reign win Midseason Madness

The Atlanta Reign completed an undefeated run by recording a 4-1 victory over the Houston Outlaws in the grand final of the Overwatch League’s Midseason Madness in Seoul.

In a match that started late Saturday night, the Reign posted a 2-1 win on Ilios and a 3-1 triumph on Blizzard World before the Outlaws responded with a 1-0 victory on Shambali Monastery. Atlanta answered with a 1-0 win on Esperanca and a 2-0 triumph on Antarctic Peninsula.

Kwon “Fielder” Joon of South Korea was named the match MVP.

Houston advanced to the title match after notching a 3-1 victory over Florida Mayhem in the lower-bracket final.

The Outlaws secured a 2-1 win on Antarctic Peninsula and a 3-1 triumph on King’s Row before the Mayhem countered with a 2-1 victory on Rialto. Houston ended the match with a 1-0 win on New Queen Street.

Lee “Fearless” Eui-Seok of South Korea was named the match MVP.

5-6. Seoul Infernal, Hangzhou Spark — $80,000
