NTMR and Spacestation Gaming posted victories Sunday to close out the North American Stage 1 regular season of the Overwatch Champions Series.

NTMR defeated Team Liquid 3-0, and Spacestation knocked off Timeless 3-1. The winners claim the top spots in the regional playoffs, which begin March 1. Liquid and Timeless will also begin the playoffs in the upper bracket.

As the top seed, Spacestation will get to choose whether they want to face Timeless or Liquid. NTMR will take on the other one. The other two teams to advance from the regular season, Avidity and Rad Esports, will open the playoffs in the lower bracket of the double-elimination tournament.

The $100,000 tournament, played online, featured eight teams. The two teams that didn’t make the playoffs, Shikigami and Amplify, will proceed to promotion/relegation for Stage 2.

NTMR began its sweep with a 2-0 win on Nepal Control. They took Havana Escort 3-2, and closed out the match 3-0 on Blizzard World Hybrid. NTMR’s Xavier “zeruhh” Zambrano, an American/Ecuadorian player, was named MVP of the match.

Timeless came back with a win on Esperanca Push (72.48m-69.12m), but Spacestation clinched with a 2-1 victory on Dorado Escort. Spacestation’s Christopher “Cjay” Smith of the U.S. earned MVP honors.
