The Washington Justice and Atlanta Reign were among the four teams that earned sweeps on Saturday in West Region qualifying for the Overwatch League’s Spring Stage Knockouts.

Washington won 2-0 on Nepal, 3-0 on Hollywood and 3-1 on Rialto to dispatch the Vegas Eternal, while the Reign picked up victories on Oasis (2-0), Hollywood (2-1) and Junkertown (3-0) to cruise past the San Francisco Shock.

The OWL format is different this year, with lower-level teams getting the chance to compete with the top-level squads.

The season format will now see teams amass points based on their results in regional qualifiers rather than the standard league standings that were in place in previous years.

The Houston Outlaws and Boston Uprising were the other squads to earn 3-0 wins on Saturday, with the Outlaws taking down the Los Angeles Valiant and Boston prevailing over the New York Excelsior.

Houston won 2-1 on Havana and 3-1 on Blizzard World to follow up a 2-0, match-opening triumph on Oasis in its sweep. New York played the Uprising close, but Boston was still able to claim all three maps, winning 2-1 on Lijiang Tower, 2-1 on King’s Row and 3-2 on Junkertown.

West Region qualifying continues on Sunday with three matches:
–Vegas Eternal vs. Florida Mayhem
–London Spitfire vs. Boston Uprising
–Toronto Defiant vs. Los Angeles Gladiators
