The Houston Outlaws announced the departure of general manager Matt “coolmatt” Iorio on Tuesday.

“We extend a heartfelt thanks to @coolmatt69 on behalf of #OutlawsNation for being with us since Season 1 to being the first #OWL player to GM an OWL team,” the team tweeted. “We wish him the best in all that lies ahead.”

coolmatt, 32, played for teams including EnVtUs and Fnatic before joining the Outlaws in 2017 ahead of Season 1 of the Overwatch League. He moved from player to manager in January 2020 and eventually to general manager later that year.
