The Guangzhou Charge parted ways with four players ahead of the 2022 Overwatch League season.

After finishing next to last in the East Region and missing the playoffs in 2021, the team said farewell Sunday to main tank Ji-hun “Jihun” Kim, DPS Zijie “MYKaylee” Zou, main support Chan-hee “Mandu” Kim and flex support Young-seo “KariV” Park.

“We would not have gotten here without you. Thank you for charging forward with us through the season,” the team posted on Twitter.

All four were acquired during the 2020 offseason. Jihun and MYKaylee will remain with the Charge’s Overwatch Contenders China academy team, Ultra Prime Academy, through the end of the season.
