Rasmus Dahlin scored an overtime power-play goal to lift the host Buffalo Sabres to a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Thursday.

Ryan McLeod and Alex Tuch each had a goal and an assist for the Sabres, who won for the fourth time in five games.

Zach Benson also scored for Buffalo, and Devon Levi made 24 saves.

Brandon Saad scored twice for the Blues, who lost for the seventh time in nine games (2-6-1).

Pavel Buchnevich also scored and Brayden Schenn earned two assists for St. Louis. Jordan Binnington made 29 saves.

Injuries continued to mount for the Blues. Defenseman Pierre-Olivier Joseph exited the game early in the second with a lower-body injury after colliding with Benson.

The Sabres opened overtime with a four-on-three power play and Dahlin scored with a one-time blast from the right circle at 1:33. Justin Faulk was in the penalty box for interference against Levi.

The Blues struck first when Saad scored 3:11 into the game, converting Schenn’s centering pass from behind the net for his first goal since Oct. 22.

Benson tied the score with 7:13 left in the first period after a Buffalo power play. He took a pass from Peyton Krebs and snapped a tough-angle shot past Binnington.

McLeod put Buffalo ahead 2-1 with a shot from the right point through heavy traffic with 3:11 left in the period.

Buchnevich tied the score 5:25 into the second period. Jordan Kyrou made a drop pass to Buchnevich, who cut from right wing to the middle and scored from the slot.

Saad put the Blues up 3-2 with 2:45 left in the period. Dylan Holloway fired a shot on goal and Schenn tipped the rebound to Saad at the open right side of the net.

The Sabres thought they tied the score early in the third period when Dylan Cozens jammed in a loose puck. However, the Blues successfully challenged the score for goaltender interference on Benson.

Tuch tied the score 3-3 with 7:03 left in the third off McLeod’s centering pass from behind the net.
