NHL: Maple Leafs re-sign F Alex Steeves to one-year deal

The Toronto Maple Leafs re-signed Alex Steeves to a one-year, two-way contract on Wednesday.

The deal will pay the 24-year-old forward $775,000 at the NHL level in 2024-25.

Steeves has recorded one assist in seven games with Toronto over the past three seasons.

He was an AHL All-Star in 2023-24 and tallied 57 points (27 goals, 30 assists) in 65 games with the Toronto Marlies.
