Jordan Eberle scored the game-winning goal with 4.9 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Seattle Kraken to a 5-4 win over the host Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday.

Eberle took a pass in front of the Detroit goal from Jared McCann and one-timed a shot into a half-open net.

Jaden Schwartz added two goals for Seattle.

Dylan Larkin had a goal and two assists for Detroit, which saw a five-game winning streak end.

Seattle held a 3-1 lead after two periods, but the Red Wings scored three power-play goals in the third to take a 4-3 lead.

Detroit cut its deficit to 3-2 with 17:50 remaining on a power-play goal by Shayne Gostisbehere, who fired a one-timer from the right faceoff circle past Seattle goalie Joey Daccord.

Detroit then tied the game at 3-3 with 15:22 remaining after the Kraken were assessed a double-minor for high sticking, as Larkin skated out from the side of the net and fired a shot underneath the crossbar.

The Red Wings then took a 4-3 lead with 9:34 remaining when Alex DeBrincat took a pass from Larkin in the left faceoff circle and fired a wrist shot past Daccord (23 saves).

With 1:48 remaining, Larkin went off for hooking to give Seattle a power play, which turned into a six-on-four situation after Daccord was pulled with 1:40 left.

The Kraken took advantage, tying the game at 4-4 with 1:22 to go thanks to McCann, who fired a shot from the point that got through traffic and past Ville Husso (31 saves).

The Red Wings opened the scoring 1:07 into the second period on a goal by Joe Veleno, but Seattle tied the game at 1-1 with 14:44 remaining in the second on a power-play goal by Schwartz.

The Kraken then took a 3-1 lead into the second intermission after a goal by Schwartz with 2:06 left in the second and a goal by Tye Kartye on a breakaway with 55.7 seconds left.
