Jason Dickinson had a goal and two assists to lead the visiting Chicago Blackhawks to a 5-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues Saturday.

Sam Lafferty had a goal and an assist for the Blackhawks, who won for the sixth time in their last seven games.

Reese Johnson, Andreas Athanasiou and Max Domi also scored for Chicago and Jaxson Stauber made 28 saves to win his NHL debut.

Jordan Kyrou, Ivan Barbashev and Nick Leddy scored for the Blues, who lost for the third time in their last five games (2-3-0).

Jordan Binnington stopped just three of seven shots for the Blues before coach Craig Berube pulled him for Thomas Greiss 3:59 into the second period. Greiss finished with 10 saves against 11 shots.

The Blues outshot the Blackhawks 32-18 but twice fell behind by three goals.

The Blackhawks scored on their first shot of the game to take a 1-0 lead at the 10:27 mark. They got behind the Blues with a 2-on-1 break and Dickinson converted a cross-ice pass from Lafferty.

Chicago made it 2-0 on its second shot of the game. Dickinson’s outlet pass sent Lafferty on a short-handed breakaway with 6:40 left in the first period.

The Blackhawks pushed their lead to 3-0 two minutes into the second period. Johnson drove the net and jammed in Colin Blackwell’s pass from behind the net.

Just 54 seconds later the Blues scored a power-play goal tp cut their deficit to 3-1. Kyrou worked a give-and-go play with Brayden Schenn and scored from the left faceoff dot.

But Athanasiou quickly countered by scoring off the rush to put Chicago up 4-1 and chase Binnington from the game.

Barbashev cut the deficit to 4-2 by taking Kyrou’s pass to the left of the goal and cutting in to stuff the puck through Stauber with 6:48 left in the second period.

Leddy pulled the Blues within a goal with 10:45 left in the game by stepping in from the left point to blast a slap shot. But Domi scored from the right circle with 3:59 left to keep the Blues at bay.
