Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Shea Theodore is recovering from surgery for an upper-body injury.

The official announcement made by the team on Wednesday said Theodore is week-to-week.

Theodore, 28, last played in the 2-1 overtime win at Dallas on Nov. 22. He has missed the past three games.

He has 18 points (four goals, 14 assists) in 20 games this season, his seventh with the Golden Knights.

Theodore has 282 points (70 goal, 212 assists) in 470 games with the Anaheim Ducks (2015-17) and Vegas.

The Ducks drafted the British Columbia native in the first round (26th overall) in 2013.
