Blake Coleman scored twice, Yegor Sharangovich collected one goal and one assist and the host Calgary Flames used four third-period goals to beat the Vegas Golden Knights 4-1 on Thursday.

Matt Coronato also scored for the Flames, who snapped a three-game losing skid. Rookie goaltender Dustin Wolf made 28 saves and Dryden Hunt collected two assists.

Anthony Mantha scored for the Golden Knights, who hold the Western Conference’s second wild-card position and saw their two-game winning streak snapped. Adin Hill stopped 33 shots.

With the Golden Knights leading 1-0, Sharangovich drew the Flames even 4:00 into the third period with his 28th of the campaign. Sharangovich fanned on his attempt, but it fooled Hill and slid into the cage for his eighth goal in as many games.

Seconds after Wolf made a breakaway stop on Ivan Barbashev, Coleman put the Flames ahead at 10:06 of the final frame. Nazem Kadri won a puck battle deep in the zone and sent a pass to the front of the net that Coleman converted.

Coronato snapped a 17-game drought when he extended the Calgary lead with 5:15 remaining. After another key stop by Wolf, Hunt sent across a pass during a rush and Coronato netted his second goal of the season and first since Oct. 14. He has spent most of the season in the minors.

Coleman notched an empty-net goal with 2:58 on the clock. It was his 28th score of the season.

The Flames were without No. 1 goalie Jacob Markstrom and winger Andrei Kuzmenko due to injuries, so they dressed six rookies. But they still managed to beat Vegas for the third time in four meetings this season. Calgary is eight points behind Vegas in the standings.

Despite Calgary controlling the bulk of the play, Mantha broke the scoreless deadlock with 2:04 remaining in the second period. Shea Theodore intercepted a pass and quickly slipped the puck for Mantha to bury with a one-timer; it was his 21st of the season and first since being traded from the Washington Capitals.
