NHL: Canadiens move up to 21st pick in trade with Kings

The Montreal Canadiens traded up to the 21st pick in Friday night’s 2024 NHL Draft in a deal with the Los Angeles Kings.

The Kings received the 26th selection in the first round as well as picks in the second (57th) and seventh rounds (198th).

The Canadiens now have 10 total picks in the draft, while the Kings have six.

The first round begins at 7 p.m. ET at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Rounds 2-7 will take place on Saturday.
