Cale Makar had two goals and an assist and Andre Burakovsky also scored twice as the Colorado Avalanche extended their winning streak to four games with a 7-3 victory against the host Seattle Kraken on Friday night.

Valeri Nichushkin, Erik Johnson and Nicolas Aube-Kubel also tallied for Colorado, which has scored 24 goals over its four-game streak, all without injured star Nathan MacKinnon (lower body).

Nazem Kadri and Tyson Jost added two assists apiece for the Avalanche, who led 7-0 early in the third period. Kadri extended his point streak to eight games (four goals, 11 assists).

Colorado goaltender Darcy Kuemper, acquired in an offseason trade with Arizona after Philipp Grubauer signed as a free agent with the expansion Kraken, made 25 saves.

Kuemper had his shutout bid end when Jordan Eberle scored a power-play goal at 5:57 of the third period. That extended Eberle’s point streak to seven games (seven goals, three assists).

Seattle’s Brandon Tanev added a man-advantage goal at 8:30 of the third, and Colin Blackwell stuffed a loose puck past Kuemper at the left post at 15:12.

The Kraken have lost six straight games, giving up 31 goals in the process.

Chris Driedger got the start in net for Seattle but was pulled 5:33 into the second period after allowing four goals on 13 shots. Grubauer went the rest of the way, stopping 14 of 17 shots.

Burakovsky opened the scoring with a power-play goal at 4:04 of the first. Seattle’s Jaden Schwartz tried to clear the puck from the front of the net but put it right on Burakovsky’s stick. The Colorado winger sent a one-timer into the open side of the net.

Nichushkin made it 2-0 on a short-handed breakaway at 6:39 of the first.

The Avalanche scored four times in the second to pull away. Makar scored at 3:01, Burakovsky got another power-play goal at 5:33, Makar tallied again at 12:48 and Johnson scored at 17:17.

Aube-Kubel made it 7-0 at 4:47 of the third.
