NFL: Seahawks WR DK Metcalf hurts knee, but ‘doesn’t look too bad’

Seattle Seahawks fans got a scare when star wide receiver DK Metcalf was carted to the locker room late in Sunday’s 34-14 win over the Atlanta Falcons with a knee injury.

However, coach Mike Macdonald said in his postgame press conference that Metcalf merely “banged his knee a little bit” and “it doesn’t look too bad” to Seahawks trainers.

Metcalf had four catches for 99 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game during the second half. He was seen attempting to jog on the Seattle sideline but later was taken by cart to the locker room.

The two-time Pro Bowler has 35 receptions for 568 yards and three touchdowns in seven games (six starts) this year for the Seahawks (4-3).
