The Houston Texans are signing Pro Bowl linebacker Denzel Perryman to a one-year deal, multiple outlets reported Wednesday.

Perryman, 30, played the last two seasons in Las Vegas, earning his first Pro Bowl nod in 2021 and finishing third on the team in tackles (83) in 2022 despite missing five games. He finished the season on injured reserve.

The move comes one day after the Texans agreed to terms with Pro Bowl linebacker Cory Littleton.

Perryman has 586 tackles, six sacks and five interceptions in 96 career games (77 starts) with the then-San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers (2015-20) and Raiders. The Chargers selected him in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
