NFL: Reports: Seahawks, DT Leonard Williams agree to $64.5M deal

The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to bring back defensive lineman Leonard Williams on a three-year contract worth $64.5 million, multiple reports said Monday.

Williams, 29, was dealt from the New York Giants to Seattle ahead of the 2023 trade deadline.

He started all 10 games he played for the Seahawks and compiled 41 tackles and four sacks.

In nine seasons with the New York Jets (2015-19), Giants (2019-23) and Seahawks, the former sixth overall draft pick has racked up 511 tackles, 43.5 sacks, six forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries across 142 games (133 starts).

He was a Pro Bowl selection in 2016 when he had seven sacks for the Jets. His career-best season was 2020, when he tallied 11.5 sacks.
