Free-agent safety Kevin Byard has agreed to terms on a two-year contract worth $15 million with the Chicago Bears, multiple media outlets reported on Sunday.

Byard, who visited the Bears on Saturday, recorded a career-best 122 tackles to go with one interception in 16 games (all starts) split between the Tennessee Titans and Philadelphia Eagles last season.

The Eagles acquired Byard from the Titans on Oct. 23 for safety Terrell Edmunds and fifth- and sixth-round picks in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Byard made 10 starts for Philadelphia and had 75 tackles, three passes defensed and one interception.

The two-time Pro Bowl pick and two-time All-Pro selection has 28 interceptions and 749 tackles in 130 games (121 starts) since the Titans drafted him in the third round in 2016.
