The Carolina Panthers are expected to activate former first-round pick Jaycee Horn from injured reserve, multiple media outlets reported on Saturday.
Horn has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in the Panthers’ season opener against the Atlanta Falcons on Sept. 10. It was not immediately known whether the cornerback will play in Carolina’s game against the host Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
Horn, 24, has 59 tackles and four interceptions in 17 career games since being selected by the Panthers with the eighth overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Injuries have hampered Horn during his NFL career. He landed on IR three weeks into his first season with a broken foot, and he fractured his wrist in 2022.
