The Atlanta Falcons are hiring Los Angeles Rams passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Zac Robinson as their new offensive coordinator, multiple media outlets reported.

Robinson, 37, worked with former Rams defensive coordinator and new Falcons head coach Raheem Morris for the past three years in Los Angeles.

Robinson joined the Rams as an assistant quarterbacks coach in 2019, moved to assistant receivers coach in 2020 and shuffled back to assistant QBs coach in 2021. He was promoted to his most recent position with Los Angeles in 2022.

A collegiate quarterback at Oklahoma State, Robinson was selected by the New England Patriots in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He later joined the Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions and Cincinnati Bengals but never appeared in an NFL game.
