Kellen Moore reportedly will be working with an NFC East team once again.

The Philadelphia Eagles are hiring Moore as their offensive coordinator, multiple media outlets reported Saturday night. Moore spent last season with the Los Angeles Chargers after working the previous five with the Dallas Cowboys, including four seasons as their offensive coordinator (2019-22).

The Chargers struggled last season en route to seeing head coach Brandon Staley fired on Dec. 15. Under the 34-year-old Moore, the team finished 18th in total offense (329.4 yards per game) and 21st in scoring offense (20.4 points per game) in 2023.

The Eagles confirmed offensive coordinator Brian Johnson and defensive coordinator Sean Desai were fired at a season-ending news conference. The reigning NFC champions ended the season on a 1-6 skid, capped by a 32-9 defeat at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an NFC wild-card round game on Jan. 15.

Philadelphia started the season 10-1 and was in position to fight the San Francisco 49ers for the top seed in the conference. Until the wheels fell off.

Johnson came under fire as star quarterback Jalen Hurts’ performance dipped in the second half of the season. Hurts finished with a career-high 15 interceptions for the Eagles, who ranked seventh in the NFL in points per game (25.5) and 16th in passing offense (225.5).

The Eagles hired Vic Fangio as their defensive coordinator.
