Miami rookie running back De’Von Achane is expected to miss the Dolphins’ Black Friday game against the New York Jets due to a lingering knee injury.

After missing four games on injured reserve, Achane returned for last Sunday’s win against the Las Vegas Raiders but aggravated the injury and exited after three offensive snaps.

Achane, 22, has rushed 39 times for 461 yards (11.8 average) and five touchdowns in five games (two starts) this season, adding 10 catches for 71 yards and two scores.

The third-round draft pick broke out in Week 3 with 203 rushing yards and four touchdowns (two rushing, two receiving) in Miami’s 70-20 romp against the Denver Broncos.
