Two Cleveland Browns players were robbed at gunpoint, multiple outlets reported.

The incident occurred early Monday morning and involved cornerback Greg Newsome II and defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey, per the outlets, citing a police report. They were not harmed.

Per police, six masked suspects got out a car and then robbed the players as they were leaving a Cleveland nightclub. Jewelry was stolen, as was Newsome’s truck.

“It’s a cruel world we live in,” Newsome posted to Twitter on Monday night.

Also over the weekend, the car of Browns backup running back Demetric Felton was stolen from a garage, per reports.

The team’s mandatory minicamp begins Tuesday.
