Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis will have an MRI on his sprained ankle on Monday, NFL Network reported.

The 2023 second-round pick was injured with 1:49 left in overtime in Sunday’s 19-16 loss to Houston. His body bent backward on a twisting tackle by safety Desmond King on the Texans’ seventh sack of the game.

Levis appeared to be in serious pain as medical staff rushed to evaluate him. He was helped off the field and taken to the medical tent, but later was seen jogging on the sideline.

“It could’ve been a lot worse,” Levis said after the loss, which dropped the Titans to 5-9. “It was definitely scarier in the moment than it was, but we will see what the trainers say. But (I) feel all right.”

Levis, 24, made his eighth start of the season and completed 17 of 26 passes for 199 yards with no touchdowns and one interception. He rushed for 25 yards and a score.

Levis has completed 59.0 percent of his passes for 1,792 yards with eight TDs and four picks this season. He has been sacked 27 times.
