New Orleans Saints guard Trai Turner sustained a torn quadriceps on Friday and will miss the upcoming season, ESPN reported.

A New Orleans native and LSU product, Turner signed a one-year deal with the Saints on Tuesday. The five-time Pro Bowl selection completed two training camp practices with the team before he was injured on Friday.

Turner, 30, has started 118 of the 126 career games in which he has played with the Carolina Panthers (2014-19), Los Angeles Chargers (2020), Pittsburgh Steelers (2021) and Washington Commanders (2022).
