The Las Vegas Raiders signed tight end Austin Hooper to a one-year, $2.75 million contract with an upside of $3.5 million, NFL Network reported on Wednesday.

The Raiders also announced that they signed cornerback David Long Jr. to a contract. They did not disclose terms of the deal, however TheScore.com reported it was a one-year contract.

The reported acquisition of Hooper marks the second tight end the Raiders have acquired this week. They signed O.J. Howard as a means to bolster the position left a bit depleted after trading fellow tight end Darren Waller to the New York Giants earlier this month.

Hooper, 28, had 41 catches for 444 yards and two touchdowns in 17 games (two starts) with the Tennessee Titans.

A two-time Pro Bowl selection with Atlanta, Hooper has totaled 339 receptions for 3,468 yards and 25 touchdowns with the Falcons (2016-19), Cleveland Browns (2020-21) and Titans.

Long, 25, had 21 tackles in 12 games (four starts) with the Los Angeles Rams last season.

He has totaled 77 tackles and one interception in 52 games (10 starts) since being selected by the Rams in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. The Los Angeles native also had 12 tackles and an interception returned for a touchdown in four playoff games with the Rams.
