The Atlanta Falcons are awaiting MRI results for left-leg injuries to starting right tackle Kaleb McGary and center Drew Dalman, NFL Network reported Monday.
Kaleb McGary sustained a MCL sprain and Dalman suffered a high-ankle sprain during Sunday night’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, per the report.
Both offensive linemen departed during the second quarter and were later ruled out.
“Not sure right now,” coach Raheem Morris said after the game. “I know they wanted to (return) if they could, and they weren’t able to.”
McGary, 29, has started 79 of his 80 career games with the Falcons (three this season) since being drafted in the first round in 2019.
Dalman, 25, has started 34 of 51 games with the Falcons (three this season) since being picked in the fourth round in 2021.
Storm Norton replaced McGary and Ryan Neuzil replaced Dalman as Atlanta dropped to 1-2 with the 22-17 home loss against the Chiefs.
