Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox underwent an epidural injection this week to alleviate back discomfort, NFL Network reported Wednesday.

Cox, who has had the discomfort for the past two weeks, did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.

The six-time Pro Bowler could miss one game but it’s not expected he’d miss any more than that, per the report. The Eagles (4-0) play at the Los Angeles Rams (2-2) this week.

Cox, 32, has 10 tackles, seven quarterback hits and half a sack in four starts this season. He has played 70 percent of the defensive snaps.

Cox has 65.5 career sacks in 177 career games (171 starts), all with the Eagles.

Also Wednesday, WR Britain Covey (concussion), OL Cam Jurgens (foot) and DT Marlon Tuipulotu (triceps) were also listed as DNP. Safety Sydney Brown (hamstring) was limited.
