The Miami Dolphins are signing free agent cornerback Kendall Fuller to a two-year contract worth $16.5 million, multiple media outlets reported Thursday.

Fuller, 29, could step in as a starter for the Dolphins, who released Xavien Howard last week.

Fuller recorded 79 tackles, nine passes defended and two interceptions in 15 games (all starts) last season with the Washington Commanders.

A Super Bowl champion with Kansas City during the 2019 season, Fuller totaled 486 tackles and 16 interceptions in 117 career games (93 starts) with the Washington franchise and the Chiefs. He was selected by Washington in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
