Denver Broncos wideout Jerry Jeudy has avoided a serious ankle injury, NFL Network reported Monday.

The team received “promising results” from the MRI, which showed a mild ankle injury, per the report. He sustained the injury on Sunday.

Jeudy, 23, was hurt on Denver’s first snap of the game against Tennessee when quarterback Russell Wilson’s pass intended for him fell incomplete. Jeudy was unable to put any pressure on his foot and was ruled out for the rest of the game. The Titans beat the Broncos, 17-10.

His status for Sunday’s game in Denver against the Las Vegas Raiders is unknown.

Jeudy, a 2020 first-round pick by the Broncos, has 30 receptions for 449 yards and three touchdowns this season.
