Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins will sit out Sunday’s game against the host Arizona Cardinals due to a rib injury, The Athletic reported.

The Bengals elevated wide receiver Kwamie Lassiter II from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday’s game in Glendale, Ariz.

Higgins was listed as questionable by the Bengals on Friday’s injury report. He sustained the injury during Cincinnati’s 27-3 loss to the Tennessee Titans last Sunday.

Tyler Boyd likely will see additional snaps in place of Higgins, who has 12 catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns in four games this season.

Higgins, 24, has 227 receptions for 3,157 yards and 21 touchdowns in 50 career games since being selected by the Bengals in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
