Aaron Rodgers has more company in the quarterback room as the New York Jets signed former UFL MVP quarterback Adrian Martinez to the training camp roster Saturday.

Martinez, 24, earned those MVP honors by throwing for 1,749 yards and 15 touchdowns while rushing for a league-leading 528 yards last season for the Birmingham Stallions.

He was also named the game’s MVP when the Stallions dominated the San Antonio Brahmas 25-0 to win the UFL Championship in June.

The Fresno, Calif., native played four years at Nebraska before transferring to Kansas State in 2022 for his final year of eligibility.

After going undrafted in 2023, Martinez had a brief stint with the Detroit Lions before being waived during final roster cuts last summer.

Martinez will be competing with not only Rodgers, but also Tyrod Taylor, Jordan Travis and Andrew Peasley for quarterback reps with the Jets.
