New England quarterback Mac Jones was on the field Wednesday as the Patriots reported perfect attendance at practice.

Jones told reporters Monday that he did not expect a back issue to keep him out of Sunday’s game at Pittsburgh.

He said an X-ray after the Week 1 defeat at Miami revealed no structural damage.

Safety Adrian Phillips also participated Wednesday after sustaining a rib injury in the first half of the season-opening 20-7 loss to the Dolphins.

Jones, 24, said he likely injured his back on a roughing-the-passer penalty in the fourth quarter.

“I’ve been hit harder before, I’ll probably get hit harder in the future,” Jones said.

Jones did not miss a snap of the Miami game. He completed 21 of 30 passes for 213 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
