Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson was carted off the field in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings because of an ankle injury.

Watson was injured while trying to catch a pass from Jordan Love across the middle of the field. Vikings linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill stepped in and intercepted the pass, and Watson’s right leg twisted badly beneath a couple of Minnesota defenders.

The Packers ruled Watson out for the rest of the game.

The 25-year-old wideout entered Sunday with five catches for 80 yards and a touchdown in his first three games of the season. He did not have a catch against the Vikings before he was injured.
