The 9,300-square-foot South Florida mansion owned by Miami Dolphins standout wide receiver Tyreek Hill was damaged by a massive fire on Wednesday.

Members of Hill’s family were in the house at the time but were all reported safe. Hill was at practice when the fire broke out and returned to his Southwest Ranches home while firefighters battled the 2-alarm blaze.

“Tyreek has been in communication with his family. Everyone is out of the house and safe at this time. He has also left practice to deal with the situation,” the Dolphins said in a statement.

The Davie (Fla.) Fire Department told media outlets they first received the call about a fire at 1:50 p.m. local time. The fire appeared to be extinguished by 3 p.m., with a large hole observed in Hill’s roof. There was not yet a reported cause of the fire.

Hill was photographed outside his home wearing a protective walking boot on his injured left ankle.

Hill purchased the seven-bedroom home for 6.9 million in 2022.

“The main thing is his family is safe, his loved ones are good, he’s good as well,” Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said after practice. “I’m just glad that a lot of his family members are safe. … We’re thinking of them, hoping that everyone is good.”

Hill has 112 catches for 1,717 yards and 12 touchdowns this season.

The Dolphins (11-5) are preparing to host the Buffalo Bills (10-6) on Sunday night.
