Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Cam Robinson was placed on injured reserve and could miss 3-6 weeks with a knee injury suffered Sunday at Houston.

Robinson is expected to be ready for the playoffs, and is first eligible to return Dec. 31 when the Jaguars play the Carolina Panthers.

Jacksonville signed offensive lineman Chandler Brewer from the practice squad to the active roster on Monday.

Robinson left the 24-21 victory against the Texans after playing only 12 offensive snaps. He was visibly upset while sitting on the bench.

The 28-year-old missed the first four games this season for the Jaguars (8-3) while serving an NFL suspension for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

The 2017 second-round pick has started all 82 games he has been on the field for the Jaguars.

Brewer, 26, played offensive tackle at Middle Tennessee State and last appeared in an NFL game in 2022 with the Los Angeles Rams.
