The New York Giants will turn to Tyrod Taylor under center with fellow quarterback Daniel Jones ruled inactive for Sunday’s game against the visiting Washington Commanders.

Jones, who was listed as questionable for the game, was limited at practice for the third consecutive day on Friday because of his neck injury.

Jones was injured during a 31-16 loss at the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 8 and missed last Sunday’s 14-9 road loss to the Buffalo Bills. Taylor started in his place and completed 24 of 36 passes for 200 yards.

The Giants (1-5) also listed cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, defensive lineman Jordon Riley, center John Michael Schmitz and offensive tackles Andrew Thomas, Evan Neal and Matt Peart as inactive.

As for the Commanders (3-3), they listed the following players as inactives: defensive ends Efe Obada, K.J. Henry, cornerback Christian Holmes, offensive tackle Trent Scott, guard Chris Paul, tight end Curtis Hodges and wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley.
