Philadelphia Eagles running back Boston Scott has signed a professional esports deal with Dignitas.

Dignitas announced that Scott will join their Rocket League team and also contribute as a content creator.

“Our Rocket League team just became more stacked,” Dignitas tweeted on Wednesday, welcoming Scott as “the first two sport NFL and Rocket League pro!”

Scott, 26, holds the status of Grand Champion in Rocket League. According to ESPN, that puts him in the top 0.52 percent of more than 6 million competitive players globally.

“Gaming has always been a part of my life. It had an impact on me since I was young that has made it bigger than just a hobby that I enjoy,” Scott said in a statement. “So the fact that I’m able to join Dignitas is a dream come true.”

A sixth-round draft pick in 2018, Scott has rushed for 992 yards and 13 touchdowns and added 62 receptions for 499 yards and one score in 45 career games (10 starts) with the Eagles.
