Dolphins left tackle Terron Armstead plans to play in 2024, giving Miami a needed win on a manic Monday framed with farewells to key players.

Armstead told NFL Network on Monday after he’s coming back for a 12th season in the NFL after weighing retirement.

“It’s done and I’m coming back,” he said.

Free agent linebacker Jordyn Brooks reportedly agreed to join the Dolphins on a three-year deal worth $30 million.

Brooks, 26, was a first-round pick of the Seahawks in 2020 and has 513 tackles, 6.5 sacks and an interception in four seasons. He recovered from Week 17 ACL injury in 2022 to be ready for Week 1 with the Seahawks last season.

Armstead, 32, restructured his contract to further assist the cap-strained Dolphins, who are bracing to officially lose several key players who agreed to deals with new teams on the first day of permitted negotiations for free agents.

Defensive tackle Christian Wilkins agreed to a four-year, $110 million contract with the Las Vegas Raiders and offensive guard Robert Hunt scored a whopper of a payday — five years, $100 million — with the Carolina Panthers. Those deals can officially be signed Wednesday when the new league year begins.

Brooks helps soften the other defensive losses on Monday. Linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel (Vikings) and safety Brandon Jones (Broncos) reportedly agreed to deals with new teams on Monday.

Armstead missed 11 games the past two seasons due to injuries after signing a five-year, $75 million contract with Miami.

Armstead was due $14.3 million in total cash in 2024 before the Dolphins renegotiated the deal.
