Free agent DeMarcus Walker is leaving the Houston Texans after one season, but he won’t be going very far. The defensive lineman is staying within the AFC South but will be donning a Tennessee Titans jersey moving forward.
Walker’s agent, David Canter, announced that an agreement has been reached, though no further details about the financial agreement or length of the contract have been disclosed.
The 51st pick in the 2017 draft, Walker played his first four seasons with the Denver Broncos, making 36 appearances (five starts) for 10.5 sacks, 51 tackles (10 for loss) and 16 QB hits.
Last season with the Texans, the 27-year-old out of Florida State appeared in 13 games (two starts), posting 31 tackles (four for loss), two sacks, seven quarterback hits, a forced fumble and a pass defended.
