The Kansas City Chiefs activated linebacker Nick Bolton from injured reserve on Saturday and placed safety Bryan Cook on IR.

The Chiefs opened the 21-day practice window on Nov. 29 for Bolton, who had been on injured reserve since Oct. 28 with a wrist injury.

Bolton, 23, was injured while tackling Los Angeles Chargers receiver Keenan Allen in the fourth quarter of the Chiefs’ 31-17 victory on Oct. 22.

Bolton has 28 tackles and one interception in four games this season. He missed three games earlier this season with a high ankle sprain.

He has 320 tackles, three interceptions and two sacks in 37 career games (33 starts) since the Chiefs drafted him in the second round in 2021.

Cook, 24, sustained an ankle injury during last Sunday’s 27-19 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

He has 42 tackles, two fumble recoveries — including one for a touchdown — and one interception in 12 games (all starts) this season.
